He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jeanette; his children, Justin (Samantha), Jeffrey, Jocelynn and Jeremy (Rita); his grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden and Gianna; his parent Gayl; his brother Tom Birks; and his nieces, Jessica and Jaclyn.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Richard J. Modell Funeral Home & Cremation Services (12641 W 143rd St, Homer Glen, IL 60491).
