He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Sr. Bormet and Martha Bormet (Nee Bethel); and his siblings, Vernon Bormet, Evelyn Wegner, Betty Ann Thomas, Jean Thompson and Edwin Bormet Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Janet Bormet (Nee Blazevich); his son Steve Bormet (Sheila Farrer); and his siblings, Herman Bormet (late Joan), Allen Bormet, Melvin Bormet (Arzelle) and Joan Kirns. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other loved family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A prayer was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
