It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Szum of Homer Glen, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Rita; his children, Tom (Kristi), Katie Caldera (Daniel) and Peggy Egner; his grandchildren, Ema Szum, Antonio, Alex, Isabella, Lucas Caldera and Jimmy Egner; and his siblings, Marcy Mize (Bill), Patricia Potempa (Lou), Michael Szum (Marilyn) and Bernadette Sims (Roger).
