We are sad to announce that on November 15, 2022, at the age of 82, Donald U. Smith of Homer Glen, Illinois, born in Pearl, Illinois passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald U. Smith to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurmon Smith and Margaret Smith; his wife Maxine Smith; his brother Carl Smith; and his siblings-in-law, William Norton, Richard Joslin and Anna Brierton.
He is survived by: his children, Don Smith (Katie) and Jennifer Smith; his grandchildren, Charlotte and Hayden Smith; his brothers, Larry Smith (Molly) and Kevin Smith (Lisa); and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Joslin, Phyllis Smith and Max Brierton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, any monetary donations will be donated to Green Pond Cemetery by his family for the purposes of maintenance and upkeep of the cemetery grounds.
