“Hi Belo, it's Lola. We're learning about the Korean War right now, and it made me think of you. We miss you every day. Everybody has pictures of you in the house. I have one on my wall in my bedroom, and my mom put a framed one in the living room, complete with your rosary. Mom is doing great. She's living between Titi Tin's, Titi Lil's, Tony's, and mia and tata's. Uncle tata and lourdes moved to Puerto Rico. Tata had a stroke. He also was diagnosed with Alzheimers, so this whole process is”

“Incredibly hard. He's completely incapable of anything, which is definitely very sad. I'm glad you didn't have to deal with covid, and all the things that have happened in the past few years since you've been gone. We really really do miss you, and I do wish you were still here. Everytime Mom makes rice, me and junior fight to go pick the black rice out. mom switched the rice she uses, so there is much less black rice, but we do it anyway because it reminds us of you. I know that if there is”
