It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Knolhoff (Hoffman, Illinois), who passed away on February 6, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Knolhoff to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Addin Tyberendt and Anna Tyberendt (Reinkensmeyer); her husband Wilbert Knolhoff; her daughter Shirley Twenhafel; her siblings, Paul Tyberendt, Esther Boester, Edna Boester and Ruth Neuhaus; and her parents-in-law, Elmer Knolhoff, Erna Brinkmann and Paul Knolhoff.
She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Wayne Knolhoff (Joyce) of Ballwin, MO, Glenn Knolhoff (Carla) of Hoffman, Gary Knolhoff of Hoffmann and Stewart Knolhoff (Brenda) of Carlyle; her son-in-law Ralph Twenhafel (Wanda) of Hoffman; her grandchildren, Tammy Oertel (Jason), Jeremy Knolhoff, Jennifer Langdon (Ross), Joanna Sell (Allen), Lindsey Hofman (John), Seth Knolhoff (Brittney), Bradley Knolhoff (Erika), Travis Knolhoff (Kourtney) and Kelsey Knolhoff (John Hemann); and her great grandchildren, Tyson, Shelby Oertel, Alayna Benson, Jaycie Langdon, Teagan, Matthew, Raelyn Sell, Bennett, Clark, Evan Knolhoff, Averie and Hollie Knolhoff.
In lieu of other gifts, the family suggests memorial donations in her memory to the Trinity Lutheran Church Endowment Fund or to Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School. Memorial donations will be received through Zieren Funeral Home in Carlyle.
