He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylven Eugene and Margaret W. Hill (Gore); his stepparents, Robert Gore and Pauline Hill; and his son-in-law Benjamin Andrew Torres.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Jo Moore; his children, Kevin Eugene Hill of Saint Louis, Amy Lynn Sanders (Shawn) of Boyd and James O. Hill (Adeana) of Central City, Illinois; his niece Holly Schneider of Centralia, Illinois; his stepsister Jeanette Nehrt (Cliff) of Hoffman, Illinois; and his pet Walter.
The family asks those who are attending to please be mindful of social distancing, wear a mask, and take any health precautions necessary to ensure a healthy environment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Hill's honor to the American Cancer Society or Hoffman Fire Department in Hoffman, Illinois, and will be received by the Moran Queen-Boggs Funeral Home at 134 South Elm Street in Centralia, Illinois.
