He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ekstrom and Catherine Ekstrom (Burgess). He is survived by: his wife Carole M. Ekstrom (Bajner); his daughters, Jennifer L. Ekstrom and Eileen B. Ekstrom; his granddaughters, Elizabeth A. Cooley (Eliza) and Evelyn M. Cooley (Evie); and his siblings, Lucie Patterson (late David), Fred Ekstrom (Nancy), John Ekstrom (Gerry) and Cathy Stateman (late Victor).
