With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger W. Thompson of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, born in DeKalb, Illinois, who passed away on July 23, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Thompson and Ellen Thompson; and his brothers-in-law, Robert F. Turko and Robert Engstrom. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen "Kathy" Thompson; his son Michael Thompson (Stacey); his granddaughter Noelle Thompson; and his sister Janet Engstrom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
