He was predeceased by: his wife Evelyn Ann Cole; his parents, Ernest Cole and Elsie Cole; his parents-in-law, Melvin and Irene Weburg; his siblings, William, Samuel, Kenneth, Keith, Carl and Ilah; and his grandson Christopher.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Cole (Sue), Lori DeWolf (Craig), Elizabeth Gibbs (Terry) and Kent Cole (Michelle); his grandchildren, Richard, Jeremy (Tricia), Tim, Mike, Blake (Shannon), Kendra (Ray), Brett, Garrett, Danea, Derek, Tiffany (Kevin), Monica (Joseph), Carolyn (Dave), Katherine (Andrew) and Trevor (Kim); and his sibling-in-law Beverly Sheridan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 930 W. Higgins Road, Schaumburg, IL 60195.
