It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Ruth Hoover of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Allen Hoover; her daughter Mary Jean Hoover-McGarry; her grandson Edward; her parents, Peter Donkel and Ruth Donkel; and her brother Richard Donkel.
She is survived by: her sons, Patrick Hoover (Penny), John Hoover (Robin), Michael Hoover (Barbara) and James Hoover (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Andrew (Alice) of Emily, TJ, Erica, Joseph (Kaili), Jeremy (Tali), Rachael, Christopher (Jo Dawn), Aaron, Callie, Cory (Kristin), Elizabeth (Alex), Steven and Teresa; and her great grandchildren, Miles, Gray, Asher, Caleb, Abram, Lowell, Adley, Hadlee and Charlotte. She is also survived by loving aunt of his three children.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be appreciated to Society for the Blind, 1238 S Street, Sacramento, CA 95811.
