He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Adeyombo Sonaike; his siblings, Basileo Odukoya, Anthony Oriji (Lori), Tola Oriji, Charles Oriji and Beatrice Oriji; and his nieces and nephews, Isaac and Kobi.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Morizzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2550 Hassell Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM and at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory to Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, Sickle Cell Disease Program (https://my.luriechildrens.org) would be appreciated by the family.
