She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Quass and Helen Quass (Durek); and her husband David Gansen of Patrick's Catholic Church. She is survived by: her daughters, Heidi Gansen (Becky Hinsley) and Jessica Widener (Michael); her grandchildren, Bennett, Maddox, Rose and Monroe; her siblings, Ron Quass of Livermore, CO, Jon Quass (Mary) of Mount Vernon, IA, Kevin Quass (Connie) of Burnsville, MN, Diane McCoy (Mike) and Red; and her cousin Karen Withey-Smith (Jay). She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, May 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (120 5th Street NW, Cedar Rapids, IL 52405).
