She was predeceased by: her parent Paul Specialle; and her sibling Paul Specialle. She is survived by: her spouse Richard "Nick" Nicholson; her children, Paul Nicholson (Jean Merz), Kimera Koenemann (Karl) and Kathy Pitts; her grandchildren, J. D. (Amanda), Carl (Megan), Michael, Ashley, Stephanie (Mack), Abbey, Joslyn and Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Liam and Kali; her parent Florence Specialle; and her sibling Frances Fleck (Ron).
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Rd., Palatine, IL 60067.
