George G. Karapanos Obituary

George G. Karapanos passed away on November 4, 2021. George was the loving husband of Melissa A. (nee Dodaro), affectionate and devoted father of Nikolas, Christian and Gianna; loving son of Kosta and the late Clara (nee Legones); fond son in-law of Rocco (Eileen) Dodaro and brother in-law of Kimm Dodaro and Jennifer (Todd) Sauer; the loving uncle of Rocco, Santino and Mattea Sauer as well as a kind and dear nephew, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation will be Monday, November 15, 2021 from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Morizzo Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2550 West Hassell Road, (Northeast corner at Barrington Road), Hoffman Estates, Illinois 60169; and Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 10 A.M. until time of prayers at 10:30 A.M. proceeding to St. Nectarios Greek Orthodox Church, 133 S. Roselle Rd. Palatine, IL 60067 for a 11:30 A.M. service. Interment to follow at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the family.
