He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Jeffrey Roos (Kathy), Scott Roos (Colleen) and Christopher Roos (Laurie); his grandchildren, Anthony Arriola-Roos (Caitlyn Volk), Angelina Roos, Nicholas Roos, Alexander Roos, Lauren Roos, Alyssa Roos and Ethan Roos; and his sister Donna Lee Branham.
