With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Lee Hedman of Hoffman Estates, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Schmecht and Elizabeth Schmecht; her husband William; and her sister Dolores Chrzan. She is survived by: her sons, Jeffery (Carole) and Michael (Kristen); her sister Dorothy Ponzevic; and her grandchildren, Alexis, Tyler, Ryan and Jacob.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Diane's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
