It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris Gregory Horeth (Hoffman Estates, Illinois), born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on February 28, 2025, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Chris Gregory may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Chris Gregory touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Gregory Horeth and Diane Clark Horeth; his siblings, Brad Horeth (Breanna) and Ashlyn Horeth Scanlan (Eric); and his nieces and nephews, Kellan and Adalyn Horeth.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Morizzo Funeral Home & Cremation Services (2550 Hassell Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169).
In lieu of flowers and gifts we ask for donations to be made to the Human Rights Campaign (https://give.hrc.org) or Doctors Without Borders as these were charities Chris passionately donated to throughout his life.
