He is survived by: his children, Peter Richter (Heather) and Cathy Bordeman (late Robert); his grandchildren, Gretta, Anne Richter and Adam Bordeman (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Grace and Brady Bordeman; and his sister Shirley Spayer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
