She was predeceased by: her sister Velma Haglerl; her stepfather George Dewey Lawler; and her stepsiblings, Theodore Lawler and Norma Scherrer. She is survived by: her children, Georgene Lynch (Charles) of Iowa City, Deacon Gregory Zeifert (Eileen) of Antioch and Christopher Zeifert (Anita) of Hinsdale; her grandchildren, William Lynch (Jennifer) of Portland, Andrew Lynch (Sarah) of Wausau, Edward Zeifert (Rachel) of Oswego, Ryan Zeifert of Scottsdale, Michael Zeifert (Christine) of Highwood, Patrick Zeifert of Chicago and Brian Zeifert of Seattle; and her great grandchildren, Jack, Avia, Rachel, Ian, Ezra, Isaac, Molly, Brooklyn, Bradon and Kyle.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be left to the Oaknoll Foundation, Newman Center Singers, or Iowa City Hospice.
