He is survived by: his wife Esther; his brothers, David and Gary; his son Steven; his daughter-in-law Nancy; his grandson Kelson; his parents, Grover Deal and Zylpha Deal; his wife Eileen; his daughter Ginny; and also Jennifer.
When Eileen developed Alzheimer's, they moved to Wolf Creek Lutheran Home in Holland, OH where he cared for her in an assisted living apartment for seven years.
