She was predeceased by: her spouse Werner Petersen; her child Lisa Petersen; and her sibling Inger Dollerup. She is survived by: her children, Hanne Stuebner (David), Karen Petersen (James Downs) and Christian Petersen (Heidi); her grandchildren, Lisa Steubner, Laina Steubner, Kai Petersen and Kara Petersen; and her siblings, Grethe Kragh-Thomsen, Kaj Avnegaard and Jorgen Avnegaard.
