He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Wimmers and Dolores Wimmers. He is survived by: his wife Becky Wise of Celina; his children, Tracie Otero (Jose) of Elgin and Rob A. Wimmers of California; and his sisters, Thelma Ffortkamp (Walt) of St. Henry and Mary Vagedes (Mike) of Tipp City. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
