He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Heidecke Sr. and Laura Heidecke; his children, Westmont Rotary and Paul Harris Fellow; his wife Debra C. Heidecke; his children, Rich (Amanda), Mark (Schweta) and Julie Heidecke; his grandchildren, Mia, Brianna and Rayden; and his siblings, Ken Von Heidecke, Lynn DeRose (Lou), Steve Heidecke, Laurie Heidecke, Michael Heidecke and Susan Ocasio (Bryan).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Julie K. Heidecke Tribute Awards Foundation.
