It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona M. Gibas (Hinsdale, Illinois), who passed away on March 6, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona M. Gibas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph T. Gibas; and her siblings, Dorothy Urbanski (late Harold), Leonard Jasinek (late Jaqueline) and Adele Jasinek. She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Kaiser (Rob) and Dan Gibas; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Ricky, Jimmy and A. J. Kaiser; her sister Geraldine Kubik (William); and her sister-in-law Lorraine Gibas (Tom Lynch). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home & Cremation Services (60 S Grant St, Hinsdale, IL 60521). A Mass was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Notre Dame Catholic Church (64 Norfolk Ave, Clarendon Hills, IL 60514).
