We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2023, at the age of 83, Kathleen Marie Flanigan Abate (Hinsdale, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Flanigan and Kathryn Flanigan; and her sister Patricia Lynn Flanigan. She is survived by: her husband Charles M. Abate (Bud); her children, Charles E. Abate (Donna Wanger) and Dr. Kelly L. Abate; her grandchildren, Erin Manske (Kyle), Alex Abate (Emma Gaer), Charlie, Will and Bridget Kallas; her great grandchild Cameron Manske; her sister Carole Latkovic (Bill); her sister-in-law Carol Tidball (Tom); and her caregivers, Ed Cocjin and Espie Viray.
