It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph F. Schieszler Sr. (Hinsdale, Illinois), born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on July 29, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gus Schieszler and Mary Alice Schieszler; his son Michael; and his siblings, Jerry and Augustus (Carole).

He is survived by: his partner LaVerne; his children, Joe (Monica), Susan (Bill Bowling), Jeffrey (Liza), David (Laurie Allen), Christopher and Jennifer Kois; and his grandchildren, Christine Ockrassa (Eric), Andrea, Leila, Lily and Makayla.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humanitarian Service Project.
