He was predeceased by: his parent Howard Elgin; and his son David. He is survived by: his spouse Betty J. Elgin (Maronette); his parent Elsie Elgin of Hinsdale; his daughter Lynn Elgin of Chelmsford; his grandchildren, Scott Monger of Framingham and Ashely Monger of Brighton; and his siblings, Jane Karasick (Bernard) of Wayne, Robert Elgin (Sally) of Ann Arbor and Dorothy Butler (Patrick) of Derry. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
