She was predeceased by: her father Samuel Tucker Gay, Jr.; and her nephew John Tucker Mahoney. She is survived by: her mother Jean Brenner Gay of Sarasota, FL; her husband Scott McKenna Pfisterer; her children, Mac Pfisterer (Muriel) of Hinsdale, Annie Lewis (Cody) and Molly Sobolewski (Dave) of Chicago; her sisters, Becky Mahoney (Jay) of Sarasota, FL and Kit Rohm of Newport Beach, CA; her sister-in-law Nancy Pfisterer Leon (Charlie Thomson) of Wilson, WY.; and her aunt Libboo. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews, their spouses, and nine great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Grace Episcopal Church (120 E 1st St, Hinsdale, IL 60521).
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations made in Liz's memory to SPARCC, 2139 Main Street, Sarasota, FL 34237.
