Catherine Lavins Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2020, at the age of 88, Catherine Lavins (Hinsdale, Illinois), born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Gilbert Gannon; her husband Bernie Lavins (Notre Dame); and her son Bernard Lavins, Jr.. She is survived by: her siblings, Anne Gallagher of Concord, MA, Bernadette, Fairfax, Patricia Gannon, George Gannon, Joseph Gannon, Paul Gannon and Martha Gannon; her children, Elizabeth Fitzgerald (Terry) of Laguna Beach, CA., Catherine Lavins of Denver, CO., John Clancy Lavins (Molly) of Hudson, OH., Mary O'Bryan (Kevin) of West Simsbury, CT. and Thomas Lavins (Jennifer) of Hinsdale, IL.; her daughter-in-law Liz Lavins of Lexington, MA.; and her grandchildren, Mamie Fitzgerald Marcuss, Thomas Fitzgerald, Tracy Fitzgerald Rodgers, Bridgette Fitzgerald Burlingame, Nora Lavins, Megan Lavins, Joseph, Grace O'Bryan, Gillian and Lucy Lavins. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
