Daniel Keller wrote a sympathy message

“I was both shocked and saddened by the news of Bruce's passing. He was always so passionate and committed to his work with the DuPage Amateur Radio Club's Field Day, and he did so much for the members of the club without ever expecting anything back. I am extremely sorry for your loss, and I give my sincerest condolences. Dan Keller - KB9MFT”

Don Ross wrote a sympathy message

“I am so very sad to hear of Bruce's passing. He and I were voted in as members of the DuPage Amateur Radio Club at the same meeting in 1989. While I didn't have much contact outside of the Club, I can't think of a more dedicated member and all around good natured guy. I'll miss him very much. Don Hlinsky - N9IZU”
