It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amitava Deb (Hinsdale, Illinois), who passed away on January 31, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sudhangsu Deb and Leela Deb; his siblings, Anuradha Sen, Anita Choudhury, Anjana Bhoumik and Anup Deb; his wife Khona; his children, Antara (Kelvin) and Avro (Rachel); and his granddaughter Kirani. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
