She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Hadon and Ruth Cuppy (Thompson); her husband John Leland Hemingway; her daughter Barbara Lynn Hemingway; and her siblings, Larry Cuppy, Phyllis Douglas and Joanne Russell.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Hemingway (Pam) of Hindsboro, IL and Joni Lutz (Jerry) of Hindsboro, IL; her grandchildren, Jonathan Hemingway (Nakita) of Dacula, GA, Jared Hemingway (Erin) of Hindsboro, IL, Joel Hemingway of Hindsboro, IL, Cassie Lockhart (Brian) of Knoxville, TN, Christopher Lutz (Jaime) of Mattoon, IL and Cari Netherton (Mitchell) of Rochester, IL; and her close friends, Karl-Joergen Madsen and Sine-Kirsten Noermoelle of Brovst, Denmark.. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren, five step great grandchildren, one step great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Joyce L. Hemingway Memorial Fund in care of the Kemp Church of Christ.
