He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Powell and Mildred Powell (Hanson); and the mother of his children Nancy L. Johnson Lindholm. He is survived by: his wife Mary Powell; and his daughters, Kari Richards (Thomas) of Newark, IL and Susan Spraggon (Stanley) of Newark, IL. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; also, his fourteen great-grandchildren.
