He was predeceased by: his father Martin Rissman (Leifheit); his wife Rosemary Thornhill; and his siblings, Lorenz, Adelbert, Wilbur, Walter, Earl, Kenneth, Dale, Robert, Myrtle, Louella, Juanita and Adella Mae.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Rissman (Peggy), MaryEllen Zimmerman (Larry) and Mark Rissman (Geri); his grandchildren, Annalia Rissman, Emma Rissman, Adam Zimmerman, Luke Zimmerman, Ashley Anderson and Ian Rissman; and his great grandchildren, Lily, Harper, Gage, Elizabeth, Leif, Eli, Georgia and Tatum.
Mike drove the twenty-two hour trip twice a year until he was 93 and COVID hit and forced everyone to stay home.
