He was predeceased by: his child Delwin Wright; his parents, Wright Heard and Patsy Heard; and his siblings, Anne Graves, Walter Wright and Helen McCollough.
He is survived by: his child Lavand Wright (Philomena); his grandchildren, Simone Wynn (Vonn), Christina Wright, Devon, Davina, Isaiah, Elijah and Noa-Isavella; his great grandchild Za'Khari Wright; and his sisters, Lillie Smith and Ramona Vanderbilt.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (4301 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
