He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Stephen Magner (Susan), Lawrence Magner (Angelica), Maurita Mondanaro (John) and Donal Magner (Denise); his parents, Walter and Loretta Magner; his grandchildren, Emma, Tessa, Anna, Kierra, Owen, Adrian and Lorcan; his sister Rosemary Kurtz (late James); and his nieces, Jennifer Crooks (Tom), Donna (Paul) and Tamara Kurtz.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of Celle Catholic Church (1428 Wesley Ave, Berwyn, IL 60402).
