He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sons, Vito (Anna) and John (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Kristina Shallow (Max), Andrea (Jimmy Esparza), Danielle Lenart (David), Joseph (Vida) and Jennifer (Brett Fergin); his great grandchildren, Landon, Nicholas, Bentley, Lilija, Antonio and Alaina; and his siblings, Genivieve Desimone (late Robert), Angelo (Pina), Fred (Micheline) and Paul (late Julie).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Divine Providence Catholic Church (2550 Mayfair Ave, Westchester, IL 60154). An entombment was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
