She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Isert (Rosalie Lewin) and Steffi; and her husband Jerry Bierig. She is survived by: her brother John; her children, Joel Bierig (Barbara) of Frisco, TX and Debbie Rudy (Ricky) of Austin, TX; her grandchildren, Emily Luvera (Brian) of Austin, TX, Ethan Davenport (Perri) of Dallas, TX, Rebecca Bierig (Joseph Cohen) of The Colony, TX and Brian Bierig (Emily Shelkowitz) of Seattle, WA; her great grandchildren, Sadie and Asher Luvera; and her grandchildren, Aviva, Maya Davenport and Levi Cohen.
