She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Newgard and Esther Newgard (Johansen); and her children, Louis Jr., Robert (Margaret) and Thomas (late Andrea).
She is survived by: her spouse Lou; her children, Mary, James (Susan), Julie (Jeffrey) and Elizabeth (late Donald Jr.); her grandchildren, Brion, Rachael (Gina), Joshua (Ashley), Bob (Katie), Justin (Kate), Matthew (Kate), Meghan (Adam), Sarah (Edward), Morgan (Michael), Catherine (Guillermo), Katie (Benj), Christine (Billy), Brittany and Andrew; and her great grandchildren, Lucy, Eva, Shelbie, Teegan, Jaylynn, Kaydence, Ethan, Amelia, Zoey, Logan, Collins, Keenan, Greysen, Lawsen, Jack, Kylee, Emilio and Willow. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Wendelin's Catholic Church (18 S Linn St, Shannon, IL 61078). Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
