He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Garay and Maria Otero; and his pets, Shai and Precious. He is survived by: his close friend Isabel Crespo; his children, Joel Garay, Alex Garay (Patty) and Yari Garay; his grandchildren, Alex Garay Jr., Brandon Garay, Caleb Garay, Calvin Sierra, Leiyali Rodriguez and Joshua Garay; and his pets, Rocky and Roxie.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
