She is survived by: her children, Julia Borjas (Alejandro), Maria Ana Gomez (Roberto), Humberto Chaidez (Leticia), Andres Chaidez (Nancy) and Dani Chaidez (Martha); her grandchildren, Alejandro (Erica), Erika Renteria (David), Christian Borjas (Joanna), Karina (Oniver Guerrero), Marissa (Camilo Naranjo), Thomas Agustin, Adam Andres, Natalie Mercedes, Daniel Chaidez, Jr., Samantha Chaidez, Agustin Jaime Chaidez, Eric Chaidez, Ivan H. Chaidez, Alec J. Chaidez and Omar Chaidez; her great grandchildren, Moses, Athalia, David, Jr., Jalissa, Joshua and Julieta; and her siblings, Luz Cepeda (Manuel) and Ricardo Saucedo (Lordes).
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Gertrude Catholic Church (9613 Schiller Blvd, Franklin Park, IL 60101). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
