Mary Esther Batterman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Esther Batterman (Hillside, Illinois), who passed away on May 11, 2019 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Elmer C. "Bud" Batterman; and her daughters, Mary Lou and Donna Lee. She is survived by: her sisters, Anna Sattler-Schmidt and Laura Techentin; her children, Barb Henry (Rick), Roy Batterman (Shirley) and Mary Beth Terhaar (Ken); her grandchildren, Travis Wiggins, Adam Matakis, Andy Oppermann, Heidi Wanta (Oppermann), Peter Smith-Terhaar and Seth Matakis; and her great grandchildren, Jake, Nate, Katie, Peyton and Molly.
In lieu of flowers, any gifts of remembrance may be given to the First Immanuel Lutheran Church Choir, Concordia University – Mequon, or Bethesda Lutheran Communities.
