With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanne Marie Roberts (Hillside, Illinois), who passed away on March 4, 2025 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father James C. Roberts; her husband John E. Penna; her son Peter J. Sopala II; her stepfather Dennis "Poppa" Long; her brother Tony Krentiras; and her nephew Jason C. Wesolek.
She is survived by: her mother Carole Long; her daughter Kristin M. Bowers (Brian); her grandson Peter J. Sopala III; her stepdaughter Kristen Penna (Marvin); her grandson Tyler Guerra; her stepson Danny Penna (Danielle); her grandchildren, Jaden Penna, Mia Penna and Leo Penna; her siblings, Nick Krentiras, Joseph Gattuso, Janice Roberts, Joan Wink (Scott) and Michael J. Roberts (Irene); and her brother-in-law Louis Penna. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Alexander Catholic Church (300 S Cornell Ave, Villa Park, IL 60181). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
