With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Italia Marino (Hillside, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Antonino; her father Francesco; her siblings, Vincenzina Genna (late Michele), Antonino DiMarco (late Antonina) and Elvira Pipitone (late Angelo); and her siblings-in-law, Vincenzo Marino (Antonina) and Maria Agate (late Stefano).
She is survived by: her children, Caterina, Mario (Cosima), Savina Angileri (Vincenzo) and Francesco (Sara); her grandchildren, Antonino (Christina), Michael, Francesco (Jessica), Liana (Gaetano), Anthony, Rosalyn and Sofia; her great grandchildren, Cassandra, Marco, Santino, Francesco and Vincenzo; and her parents-in-law, Mario and Caterina.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church (306 W 4th St, Hinsdale, IL 60521). An entombment was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
