She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Fahim Girgis; her son Peter Girgis (Dawn Niedermayer); her parent Amina Zachary; and her siblings, Atiat Nakhla (late George) and Reda Sadek (late Flora).
She is survived by: her sons, Samuel Girgis (Rita), John Girgis (Rhonda) and Philip Girgis (Magdalen); her grandchildren, Brook Shinabarger (Eric), Brittany Bell (Joshua), Paul Girgis (Kelli), Matthew Girgis (Sarah), Ashley Melson (Scott), Timothy Girgis (Rachel), Peter Girgis (Sally), Christopher Girgis (Abigail), Danielle Davey (Merit), Nicholas Girgis (Kaitlyn), Abigail Girgis, Jennifer Girgis and Jayden Girgis; her great grandchildren, Margaux, Naomi, Jack, Isla, Thomas, Judah, Colette, Benjamin, Henry, Cal, Murphy, Audry, Emma, George, Theodore, Lilly and Elizabeth; and her friend Norma Malave.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Christ Church of Oak Brook (501 Oak Brook Rd, Oak Brook, IL 60523). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
