It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick F. Woodson Sr. (Hillside, Illinois), who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Erick Ornell Woodson; his stepson Philip Wesley (Cathy); his parents, Jesse James Woodson Sr. and Ethel Robinson; and his siblings, Ora Owens, Jesse James Woodson Jr. and Raymond Otha Woodson.

He is survived by: his children, Dr. Sarita LaShun Woodson and Frederick Woodson Jr.; his stepson Michael Anthony Wesley; his grandchildren, Tabitha Dominique Woodson, Kyle Erick Allen Woodson, Miracle Vivian Woodson, Latoya Wesley, Philicia Wesley, Chelsea Wesley, Philip Wesley Jr. and Kimika Nichols Wesley; and his wife Ethel.
