He was predeceased by: his brother Ray Niemiec (Al Malchiodi); his parents, Walter Niemiec and Anna Niemiec; his cousins, Joseph, Stanley, Anna Niemiec, George Kurgan, Eleanor Kavouras, Mary Nowik, John Sawchuk and Thaddeus Niemiec of Alaska; and his in-laws, Attilio, Ann Cammarato, Edward, Estelle Henning, Nathan and Alice Newell.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his in-laws, Marlene Niemiec, Carl, Maryann Liture, H. D., Helen Newell, Anthony DiCapua and Helen DiCapua; his cousin MaryAnn Dranchak of Oregon; and also Gene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
