He was predeceased by: his wife Mae Etter Sheard; his siblings, James Sheard, Robert Sheard and Anna Pearl Hill; his sons, Edward Sheard Jr. and Steven Rocklin Sheard; and his grandsons, Christopher Sheard and Terrance Sheard. He is also survived by 4 Children, 16 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great Great-Grandchildren.
