Dominick F. Castaldo Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dominick F. Castaldo Sr. (Hillside, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter JoAnn Jones (Jerold); his parents, Augustino Castaldo and Josephine Castaldo; his siblings, Augustino, John, Ambrose and Marie Cappelletti (late John); and his grandfather Baccala.
He is survived by: his children, RoseMarie Smith (Gary) and Dominick Jr. (Carol); his grandchildren, Tiffany, Tammy, Tia, Jordan, JoAnn, Jerold, Joshua and Joseph; and his wife Charlotte.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Russo's Hillside Chapels (4500 Roosevelt Rd, Hillside, IL 60162). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (105 Herrick Rd, Riverside, IL 60516). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at the Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery (1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162).
